MS Gatorade Volleyball POTY

Carson Caraway joined the elite company of Lady Raiders who have earned the Gatorade Mississippi Volleyball Player of the Year award by becoming the seventh player in program history and just the third underclassman to earn the distinction. With her banner being placed on a wall that speaks to a standard of excellence few programs in the state can match.

The honor came on the heels of one of the most decorated individual seasons in JA volleyball history, as Caraway earned MaxPreps All-American and AVCA All-American recognition, Prep Dig Breakout Player of the Year for Mississippi, All-MAIS honors and MVP recognition at the MAIS Futures Game, all while becoming just the second Lady Raider ever to record over 1,000 digs and 1,500 kills in a career. A JA athlete has now claimed a Gatorade Mississippi Player of the Year award in 12 of the last 13 years.

She is verbally committed to continue her career at Loyola Marymount University following her senior season next year.
