300 Career Wins

Thursday night marked another milestone in the storied history of Jackson Academy Volleyball as Head Coach Melissa Denson celebrated her 300th career victory. The win came in decisive fashion, with the Lady Raiders sweeping Pillow Academy in straight sets.

Since taking over the program in 2018, Coach Denson has built a powerhouse that has become one of the most dominant in Mississippi. In just eight seasons, she has guided the Lady Raiders to five State Championships, appeared in the Title Game every single year, had three players earn a total of five Gatorade Player of the Year Honors and amassed an impressive 266 JA wins along the way.

Her leadership, dedication, and consistent pursuit of excellence have not only elevated JA Volleyball to championship heights but also created a culture of success and pride for players and fans alike.
