-South 395
-Mt Rose Hwy
-Incline Village
-Counter-clockwise around Lake Tahoe
-Hwy 50 / Spooner summit to Carson City
-Arrive Adventure MotoStuff
 ---Shop for gear and accessories, do lunch at neighboring restaurants

Friday Afternoon:  Virginia City / Pyramid Lake
"Gambling Ghosts and Indian Spirits"

Overview:
Start: Adventure Moto Stuff 1:00p / "Drive By" Nugget 1:45p
Target Riders:  ALL
Terrain:  Pavement / Some dirt
Type: Scenic, historic, mystical
Miles: 130 plus about 10 miles misc. including dirt = 135aprox
Guestimated Time:  4 hours (leisure pace)

This should be a great afternoon ride.  Up (from the south) to Historic Virginia City, and then Geiger grade into Reno and then north on Pyramid Hwy to the enchanted Pyramid Lake.  We'll circle over to the east side and take  some short dirt roads down to the Lake.  Return via Wadsworth.

-SR341 to Virginia City   NOTE: We'll take the "Truck Route"
-Virginia City
-Down Geiger Grade
-Hwy 395 North
-"Drive By" Nugget to pick up any loitering Stromers
-Pyramid Hwy
-Pyramid Lake ..east to Nixon
-North along lake ...take dirt roads down to Lake
-South Via 447 to Wadsworth
-Hwy 80 "slab" back to Nugget (5:00p?)

"Take The Lake"  --Saturday.   Simple relaxed Scenic Ride of Lake Tahoe/Truckee

Overview:
Simple relaxed Scenic Ride of Lake Tahoe/Truckee
Start: Nugget 8:30a
Target Riders:  ALL who want very relaxed scenic with stops.
Terrain:  Pavement
Type: Scenic, Historic.
Miles: 170
Guestimated Time:   4 to 8 hours depending on stops pace and optional routes back

Start off with some great riding up Mt. Rose hwy -then a great circle around Lake Tahoe. (hopefully early enough to beat weekend traffic)  Take hwy89 Past Squaw Valley to Truckee then hwy 267 back to the Lake.  Where you have many options to 
get back to Reno.  Option shown is returning via Mt. Rose Hwy.

-South 395 
-Mt. Rose Hwy
-Around the Lake via South Lake Tahoe
-Tahoe City -hwy 89 to Truckee
-Hwy 267 to Kings Beach
-Incline village
-Mt Rose hwy back to Reno* 

*plenty of other options

-Possible touristy traffic around lake

Options:
Many!  once back to the lake from Truckee you can extend this ride by taking many alternate routes back. 



"The Lake + Gold Country"  --Saturday
Overview:
Lake Tahoe and Hwy 49
Start: Nugget 7:30a
Target Riders:  ALL
Terrain:  Pavement with dirt option
Type: Scenic, great twisties, historic.
Miles: 296 
Guestimated Time:  9hrs

!What an awesome mix!
Start off with some great riding up Mt. Rose then a great circle around Lake Tahoe. (Hopefully early enough to beat weekend crowds)  Take hwy89 Past Squaw Valley to Truckee -Over Donner Summit then Hwy 20 to Nevada City then up AWESOME hwy 49 ..through Downieville (can you say amazing twisties!), Sierra City etc ….back home Via Truckee.  Wow, what a mix of great stuff.

-Mt. Rose Hwy
-Around the Lake via South Lake Tahoe
-Tahoe City -hwy 89 to Truckee
-Hwy 80 (over Donner Summit
-Hwy 20 to Nevada City
-Hwy 49 through Downieville
-Hwy 89 to Truckee
-hwy 80 back to Nugget

Suggestions:
-Be Willing to partake in some great riding

Caution:
-Possible touristy traffic around lake

Options:
-For the "dirt adventurous" you can take Henness Pass Road from hwy 89 to Verdi, might not save much time, but will add some dirt fun!
-Many options to shorten this route if you wish.



 Four Passes -Saturday

Overview:
Can you say lots of elevation gain +/- and a ton of twisties?
Start: Nugget 7:36a
Target Riders:  Likely a fast group, but can be done at any pace.
Terrain:  Pavement
Type: Technical, scenic, ton-o-twisties.
Miles: 361
Guestimated Time:  8 hours  +/- depending on stops pace
This route will not disappoint.   Bareman has been waiting a long time for this and is eager to lead some fantastic fun.

-Carson City
-Jack's Valley through to Genoa
-Up Kingsbury Grade to the Lake
-Hwy 50
-hwy 89 over Luther Pass (pass one)
-hwy 88 over Carson Pass (pass two)
-hwy 104/26/Ridge road etc (back twisty rough roads)
-hwy 49 (San Andreas to Angels Camp)
-hwy 4 over Ebbetts Pass (pass three)
-Hwy 89 over Monitor Pass (pass four)
-Hwy 395 Topaz Lodge (meet up with other group on long ride?)
-Hwy 395 "cool down" back to Nugget

Suggestions:
-Be ready for some amazing roads.

Caution:
-Ride within your limits, lots of opportunity to get yourself in trouble here.

Options:
-This route can be shortened a bit if you want.



Long Ride  -Saturday
Overview:
Don't want to mess with tourists and the status quo?  Want to get out to some "real NV/CA"?
For those that came to ride and want to put on some miles.  This route will have plenty of great mix:  Twisties, sweepers, wide open stretches through remote areas, Mild but good dirt, incredible scenery, amazing points of interest. 
Start: Nugget 6:48a
Target Riders:  ALL who came to ride and put some great miles on.
Terrain:  Pavement / Dirt
Type: Scenic,  Open, Points of Interest.
Miles: 540
Guestimated Time: 10 hours +/- depending on stops/pace.

Start off with a trip up Geiger grade to Virginia city then Down (via Truck route).
Nevada Style highways through Silver Springs, Yerington then through the beautiful Smith Valley -along the Walker River to Smith.  South down to Bridgeport/395 Then some dirt up to amazing Bodie then dirt over to remote 167 and a great ride to Hawthorne.  Loop to Benton and then the very remote Benton Crossing Road (shhh, don't tell anyone of this secret) back to 395.  Loop through awesome Mammoth Lakes and then Lee Vining (gateway to Yosemite) then (meet Barman group at Topaz?) 395 back to Reno.

--Ouch, this ride is something!

Why am I talking it up?  Because I plan on leading this big adventure!

-alt 95/ hwy360 / hwy 6 / Benton Crossing Rd / to Hwy 395
-203/Mammoth Scenic Loop
-Hwy 395 North
-Topaz Lodge (Meet up with Bareman Group?)
-Return to Reno
 

Suggestions:
Bring rested, hydrated body.
Bring snacks/water
Bring gas money :-)

Caution:
You will never forget this ride.

Options:
-we can discuss adding more dirt and taking dirt from Bridgeport to Bodie if folks are looking for more dirt
-this route can be shortened for those who wish.


Dirt Ride  -Saturday
Overview:
Want to get some great dirt riding in ..and do it with others who feel the same.

This route is not yet layed out, and honestly, there may not be map available until time of ride as this ride may be layed out via GPS coordinates.  
Hint:  Likely will cover some of the Black Rock Desert.
